1. These are a very good size. They fit nicely in my hand, and coarse enough to clean a cast iron skillet completely and quickly, and flexible enough to get into all the corners of the skillet.
2. I also use them to scrub down the sink after I do the dishes, and they do a great job at that too.

2. I used these to keep the mice out of areas they want to be but I don't want them in. Like the cover on the air conditioner where they like to hide and eat nuts. Fill the holes with stainless steel mesh and no more mice inside.
